I heard someone calling me at midnight
I woke up & switched on the light
And there came a voice
Which was so gentle & wise
It told me to "listen to me at ease"
But I said "I am too busy" pls
It seems I have lost my mental stability & peace
It whispered to me "I am the one whom u r looking for"
I stay deep within the core of your heart
I rubbed my eyes to see,clearly ,who it was
But to my surprise i saw no one across
It called me once,it called me twice
I cant 4get that soft,gentle voice
Again,it asked me....Are u happy??
I frown 4m outside & I no longer enjoy
I usually cry
And these tears never dry
Y have situations made me weak
It seems my way is all bleak
It said "in those difficult times when u r at dismay
U will always find me bringing sunshine out the hay"
But that night I kept wondering,with my eyes open wide
As I lie on my bed turning side
